Imaging is where we have done this before
We built our record placing radiographers, sonographers and other imaging professionals into New Zealand services, and Australia is where we are growing it: medical imaging first, with a small number of providers, rather than national coverage of everything. We recruit for two countries and no others.
Three of these professions go through the Medical Radiation Practice Board; sonographers go through ASMIRT and ASAR. We map each candidate’s route and stage before an introduction, so “available” means a date, not a hope.
Registration, visa and notice period put in order, with the slow steps started early. We tell you how long it will take, including when the answer is “not yet”.
A partner’s work, children’s schooling and the actual town are discussed in the first conversation, not after the offer. The people we introduce arrive knowing what they said yes to.
Most recruitment ends at the start date. Ours starts there.
International placements fail for relocation reasons far more often than clinical ones. So the move itself is the work: the household, the town, the first year. It is why the people we introduce arrive prepared, and why they stay.
A partner’s work, the children’s schools and the actual town are discussed in the first conversation, before any offer. A move the family has not talked through is not a placement we make.
Every candidate gets Ethicare’s planning tools free: the step-by-step plan, the destination guides, the first-month and family guides, the registration pathway checker. They arrive having planned the move properly.
A small, deliberate number of placements so the same person stays accountable: registration, the visa alongside your team, the move, and contact through the first year, when placements are won or lost.
No candidate is ever charged a fee. Employers tell us when the next role is coming; the clinicians we have placed introduce colleagues. Our New Zealand record is what that looks like, and it is how we work in Australia.
From brief to first year
Sourcing and screening
International candidates found and screened for experience, eligibility, motivation and a household that supports the move.
Shortlist with registration status
Each profile comes with the registration route, the stage reached and the likely timeline, stated plainly.
Interviews and the offer
We coordinate interviews across time zones, prepare candidates for how Australian services interview, and keep the process moving.
Relocation and settling in
Registration completion, the visa process alongside your team, the move itself, and contact through the first year.
Introductions made to your requirement, not from a list
We do not hold a bench of candidates waiting for any role. Tell us the modality, the location and the setting, and we introduce appropriately screened professionals against that brief, one named person at a time, with their consent. Where we can help quickly we say so; where a search will take time, we say that too.

Discuss your recruitment needs.
One hard-to-fill modality, a new unit to staff, or a regional service that has stopped expecting to fill the role. Tell us what you need and we will answer plainly.
- A person reads it, usually within a working day.
- An answer first — whether we can help, and roughly how long it would take.
- Candidate profiles on request, against your stated requirement, with registration status shown.
