A note from our founder
There’s a person behind every move.
During most of a decade working in the NHS, I saw first-hand the contribution international healthcare professionals make. I also learned the importance of building diverse teams that reflect the communities we care for.

I saw how important it was to help colleagues arriving from overseas understand the culture of the NHS, how we deliver care and the people we serve.
Since founding Ethicare, I’ve worked closely with healthcare teams in New Zealand and now Australia. I’ve learned a great deal from them too. Each country has its own challenges, and that understanding helps us prepare people for the workplaces and communities they’re moving into.
We want people to find opportunities that suit them, feel welcome in their new teams and have a good understanding of what life and work will be like.

I’m only thinking about moving. Is it too early to speak to Ethicare?
No. You don’t need to have chosen a country or started registration. Start with the Pathway Navigator or My Move, and change your mind at any point.
Do I need to have found my role through Ethicare to use your tools and resources?
No. The tools and guides are free to use however you find your role. If you want our help with one, register your interest.
Do you charge healthcare professionals for helping them find a job?
No. Where we recruit for an employer, the employer pays our fee. You will still have your own costs, such as registration, visas and relocation: the cost calculator sets them out.
