Consultant Paediatric Radiologist — Dunedin
Ethicare is recruiting a Consultant Paediatric Radiologist in Dunedin. This is an opening for a paediatric radiologist to provide expert imaging for children right across the south of New Zealand.
About the role
You’ll join a fully integrated public-hospital radiology team, providing paediatric imaging across X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine for patients from neonates to adolescents, and working closely with paediatricians, neonatologists and surgeons to deliver family-centred care.
What the role involves
- Interpreting and reporting paediatric studies across all modalities
- Working within multidisciplinary teams alongside paediatric specialists
- Contributing to registrar training and teaching
- Joining a 1:6 on-call roster
About you
- FRANZCR (or equivalent), with significant paediatric radiology experience
- Eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach and strong multidisciplinary communication
- An interest in teaching and mentoring radiology registrars
